Our planet faces unprecedented environmental, social, economic, and cultural challenges.

Challenges that the 20th-century political and economic systems have failed to address. The materialistic and consumerist model of the past decades has ignored human values and depleted our earth of its natural resources. Institutional trust is at an all-time low, income inequality is at an all-time high, and climate change is an undeniable reality. Our priority is to reinvent ourselves, individually and collectively. We urgently need new, innovative solutions, and a new paradigm for our shared future.

Through connecting with all of our members, staff, radio operators, thinkers, and doers from around the world, we realized how many engaged citizens are experimenting with grassroots solutions that positively impact the lives of their communities. Usually ignored by traditional power structures, they are often the key to new and innovative solutions to pressing global problems. The goal of the DCO is to connect these creative forces, share in and amplify their transformative power, and act as a catalyst for the emergence of a new people-centered, earth-respecting paradigm. Our goal at DCO is to support the formation of an ecological civilization through an ecosystem of innovative and earth-loving forces from around the world.

HUMANITY
The first part of our logic stands for humanity.
Humanity, which [lat. humanitas: humanity]; Human kindness, human spirit. The basis of humanity is the feeling of the dignity and inviolability of people, regardless of race, gender, and nationality. From a philosophical point of view, humanity is an ideal - striving for this in one's actions should be the goal of every individual. In the spirit of this ideal, the protection of life, freedom, and human dignity comes first. Humanity is also characterized by pacifism, religious and political tolerance, and charity. Specifically, anyone who selflessly assists people in need - for example, the poor, refugees, victims of war and disasters - or is involved in aid organizations to ensure compliance with human rights, etc. acts in a humanitarian manner.

Sustainability and regeneration are our priorities
The second part presents the sustainability and regeneration agenda, the implementation of which requires a paradigm shift. One that will lead to systemic, economic, social, and behavioral change to address today's major challenges.

Enriched by Education
The 3rd part stands for education. We believe we must rethink and reinvent our education system to educate a new generation of change-makers and give them the skills necessary to solve the critical problems of our time.

Enlightened by inner transformation
The 4th part stands for inner transformation. Often neglected, but in our view the fundamental basis for any change. What the ancient Greeks called “Know Thyself” (γνῶθι σαὐτόν) remains relevant in our search for a new humane civilization.

Backed by science and technology
The 5th part represents science and technology. Science and technology as a force for good, as a tool to satisfy human needs, and not as an end in itself. The connecting force for all other areas accelerates the transformation process.

Inspired by art
The 6th part presents art. The intellectual and emotional power of art reaches human hearts and brains. Art and artists have a universal language to communicate with people of all cultures and social backgrounds. Art has the power to change perceptions and perspectives, to connect people, communities, and nations, and to build bridges. The creativity and imagination of art are our positive force for our common future.
